Previous issue date: 2008 / This work has as its central them the status of the concept of alterity in the Hegel’s philosophy. We intend to understand Hegel’s philosophy through the concept of alterity thought of as a fundamental concept in its structure. We will attempt, then, to verify how Hegel’s philosophy, contrary to what say the critics of the concept of totality, is far away from the model of Identity and quite close to what is called the model of the “Identity of the Identity and difference”, given that the alterity is not cancelled, but supersede (negate, preserve and suspend). For that, we will take as our cornerstone Labarrière’s readings of the concept of alterity in Hegel, differentiating his position from those of Kojève and Hyppolite. Hegel’s philosophy, for Labarrière, presents the syllogism that takes the unity to the difference of its extremes (immediate immediaticity and mediated immediaticity). For that, however, it is necessary that a medium term becomes present as a reflexive function. We accept Labarrière’s understanding that “there also is a logic underlying consciousness”. Our work, thus, while circunscribing the them of alterity to the sphere of subjectivity, intends to verify the status of that concept within the figure of the Master and the Slave. The logic that underlies the Phenomenology of the Spirit presents the categories of the Science of Logic. Thus, we take the figure of the Master and the Slave as a logical moment corresponding to the logic of the Essence. In that figure, we find the passage from a relation of the consciousness with the world to an intersubjective relation, where consciousness takes reflexively another consciousness as an object. For Hegel, the formation of a consciousness can only happen in a situation of intersubjectivity. The constitution of a subjective alterity and the recognition of the other as an equal, thus, is necessary for the emergence of the self-consciousness. / Este trabalho tem como temática central o estatuto da alteridade dentro da Filosofia de Hegel. Pretende-se compreender a Filosofia hegeliana através da alteridade como conceito fundamental para sua estrutura. Trataremos, portanto, de verificar como a Filosofia hegeliana, ao contrário do que afirmam os críticos da totalidade, está afastada do modelo da Identidade e próxima ao que é denominado de modelo da “Identidade da Identidade e da diferença”, visto que nesta a alteridade não é anulada, mas suprassumida (negada, conservada e elevada). Para tanto, nos apoiaremos na leitura de Labarrière sobre a alteridade em Hegel, diferenciando esta posição das da Kojève e Hyppolite. A Filosofia de Hegel, para Labarrière, apresenta o silogismo que leva a unidade à diferença de seus extremos (imediatidade imediata e imediatidade mediada). Para isso, entretanto, faz-se necessária a presença do termo médio como função reflexiva. Assumimos a compreensão assumida por Labarrière de que também “há uma lógica por trás da consciência”. Nosso trabalho, dessa forma, ao delimitar o tema da alteridade na esfera da subjetividade, pretende verificar o estatuto deste conceito na figura do Senhor e do Servo. A lógica que está por trás da Fenomenologia do Espírito apresenta as categorias da Ciência da Lógica. Assim, tomaremos a figura do Senhor e do Servo como momento lógico correspondente à lógica da Essência. Nesta figura, encontramos a passagem de uma relação da consciência com o mundo para uma relação intersubjetiva, isto é, a consciência toma reflexivamente outra consciência como objeto. Para Hegel, a formação de uma autoconsciência só pode ocorrer pela situação de intersubjetividade. A constituição de uma alteridade subjetiva e o reconhecimento do outro como igual, portanto, é necessária para a emergência da autoconsciência.
