Previous issue date: 2007-05-18 / Contemplando a globalização como a versão mais atual da colonização, nosso desafio, em primeiro lugar, consiste em superar velhas práticas de discriminação e de isolamento, de evitar que se repita com os pobres e excluídos do sistema o tratamento dispensado a seres considerados incompletos e irresponsáveis por suas ações. Este trabalho pretende relacionar o presente às desigualdades associadas às diferenças coloniais, nesse momento em que o acordado nos termos de uma moral universal pragmática desempenha o mesmo papel de uma vontade geral que desde a Modernidade priorizou a doutrina liberal sobre as diferenças. Ao acusarem determinada mentalidade de ter usurpado o lugar da razão na Europa moderna, os que se ocupam das causas, e menos dos efeitos, do contradiscurso da Modernidade sinalizam de muitas maneiras: uma delas seria indicando esse contradiscurso como desvio; outra mostrando indiretamente que será difícil reconhecer que conceitos fundadores de toda a história da filosofia forneceram a justificativa manifesta para o projeto do colonialismo. Apesar das divergências entre saber e reconhecer que o colonialismo cumpriu o papel de filosofia da Modernidade, a importância atual desse tema reside em reconhecer que as estruturas coloniais de poder têm provado ser mais duradouras e estáveis do que se pensa. Se é objetivo de APEL fundamentar uma ética racionalmente de acordo com as atuais necessidades do mundo, cujo desenvolvimento científico e técnico ameaça a sobrevivência do planeta inteiro; para DUSSEL, essa ética à altura dos problemas atuais também poderá se constituir objetivo de uma razão pós-colonial, que funde passado e presente em uma mesma categoria universalizante. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / Contemplating the globalization as the most current version of the colonization, our challenge, in first place, consists of overcoming old discrimination practices and isolation, avoiding that the treatment released to beings considered incomplete and irresponsible for their actions would repeat. This paper intends to relate the present to the inequalities associated to the colonial differences, on the moment that the agreement in terms of a pragmatic universal morals plays the same part of a general will that from the Modernity prioritized the liberal doctrine on the differences. To those who accuse certain mentality of having usurped the place of the reason in modern Europe, the ones who are in charge of the causes, and less of the effects, of the contradiscourse of the Modernity sign many sort things out: one of them would be indicating that contradiscourse as deviation; one other showing indirectly that it will be difficult to recognize that concepts founders of the whole history of the philosophy supplied the obvious justification for the project of the colonialism. In spite of the divergences between to know and to recognize that the colonialism accomplished the rule of philosophy of the Modernity, the current importance of that theme resides in recognizing that the colonial structures of being able to have been proving to be more durable and stable than anyone may think. If it is APEL’s objective to base an ethic rationally in terms of the current needs of the world, whose scientific and technical development threatens the survival of the whole planet; for DUSSEL, that ethics according to the present problems would also be able to constitute object of a post-colonial reason that founds past and present in a same universalism.
