Previous issue date: 2018-03-13 / CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The work will seek to understand how were the origen of modern art in Honduras, analyzing the
work of the most renowned artist. For this, the phylosophy and aesthetic visión of Arthur C Danto
will be used in order to make and ontology of Honduras art that allows to establish how this has
been developed. The objective is to reflecto n the type of lenguage used by contemporany artist in
Honduras classifying the work of these artist temporally and identifying each of the proposedstyles
from mimetic representation painting, abstract painting, installation and object art. / Se buscará entender como fueron los orígenes del arte moderno de Honduras analizando la obra de
los artistas más renombrados. Para ello, se utilizará la filosofía y visión estética de Arthur C. Danto
con el fin de realizar una ontología del arte hondureño que permita establecer como este se ha ido
desarrollando. El objetivo es reflexionar sobre el tipo de lenguaje utilizado por los artistas
contemporáneos de Honduras, clasificando la obra de estos temporalmente e identificando cada
uno de los estilos propuestos desde la pintura de representación mimética, la pintura abstracta, la
instalación y el arte objeto.
