Previous issue date: 2017-05-02 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / O presente trabalho apresenta um estudo sobre atividades investigativas no ensino de hidrostática aplicadas no Ensino Médio. O objetivo da pesquisa foi o de elaborar uma sequência didática com abordagem investigativa, testar e analisar os seus impactos na aprendizagem dos alunos. As aulas, com caráter experimental, foram planejadas e elaboradas com a utilização de materiais de baixo custo e de fácil aquisição, podendo assim ser ministradas em uma sala de aula comum. Os temas abordados nas aulas foram Pressão e Empuxo. As atividades investigativas foram aplicadas para uma turma constituída por alunos voluntários da primeira série do Ensino Médio de uma escola pública da cidade de Belo Horizonte – MG. A coleta de dados foi feita durante dois meses, na turma com média de quinze alunos frequentes. As aulas com duração de cinquenta minutos eram divididas entre a apresentação do experimento a ser realizada, explicação do problema a ser investigado, execução do experimento, formulação, discussão das hipóteses e aplicação de teste. Os resultados obtidos foram analisados em busca de indicadores de alfabetização científica e aprendizagem significativa dos conceitos de física trabalhados. / The present paper presents a study about investigative activities applied in hydrostatic teaching in high school. The research goal was to elaborate a pedagogical sequence with an investigative approach, test and analyze its impacts on the student’s learning. Experimental classes were planned and elaborated with the use of low-cost and easy-to-acquire materials, which could then be taught in a common classroom. The subjects taught were pressure and hydrostatic. The investigative activities were applied in a class of voluntary students from the first year of a public high school from Belo Horizonte City - Minas Gerais State. The data collection was done for two months, in a class with an average of fifteen frequent students. The classes lasted 50 minutes and were divided into the presentation of the experiment to be carried out, explanation of the problem to be investigated, execution of the experiment, formulation and discussion of hypothesis, and application of questionnaires. The results obtained were analyzed in search of indicators of scientific literacy and significant learning of the concepts of physics worked.
