Previous issue date: 1984 / Resumo: Não informado / Abstract: In this work the photoelectrochemical behavior of p-type Si in various aqueous solutions is studied. Reduction reaction are analyzed, which are promoted by electrons from the semi-conducting electrode. Dark reactions are distinguished from reactions which occur under illumination. The electrodeposition of a metal layer onto the semiconductor is studied as well. Finally, we show the use of a photoelectrochemical cell with p-Si as electrode for solar energy conversion / Mestrado / Física / Mestre em Física
