The quartz deposits of the Watshishou knoll area on the north shore of the St. Lawrence river.

This work is being attempted to study the type, genesis and commercial possibilities of a series of very large bodies of massive pure quartz in the Watshishou Knoll area. The writer spent eight days during the fall of 1949 mapping the area on a scale of 1138 feet to the inch.
