Previous issue date: 2007 / A dissertação se propõe a estudar as formas de comunicação e transferência de informação a partir da análise da rede social de Itapoã, cidade satélite do Distrito Federal. A análise dos dados é baseada em um recorte feito no espaço e tempo sobre algumas relações existentes no projeto de Inclusão Digital, elaborado e financiado pela Estação Digital da Fundação Banco do Brasil. Para estudar os fluxos de informação e a estrutura de comunicação no grupo, procurou-se analisar como os elos interagem entre diferentes campos sociais e o papel desses elos na rede social. A idéia é perceber a estrutura social existente no universo empírico por meio das relações e não apenas dos atributos individuais. Foram aplicadas algumas medidas da metodologia de análise de redes sociais, combinadas com métodos de procedimentos qualitativos e de estudo de caso. Os resultados destacam a relevância da coesão na rede social para que a transferência de informação colabore na construção do capital social. _______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / The dissertation purpose to study the forms of communication and the transference of information from the analysis of the social network of Itapoã, satellite city of the Distrito Federal. The analysis of the data is based on a clipping made in the space and time on some existing relations in the project of Digital Inclusion, guided and financed by Digital Station of the Fundação do Banco do Brasil. To study the flux of information and the structure of communication in the group, it was analyzed how the links interact between different social fields and the importance of these links in the social network. The idea is not analyze the individual attributes inside the relations, but so, perceive the existing social structure in the empirical universe through the relations. Some measures of the methodology of analysis of social networks had been applied, combined with methods of qualitative proceeding and studying of case. The results show the relevance of the cohesion in the social network so that the information transference collaborates in the construction of the Social capital.
