A proposição de intervenções arquitetônicas ecoturísticas em uma área de preservação ambiental para o município de Guaraqueçaba com aproximadamente 8.000 habitantes, situado no litoral do Paraná, a 174km da capital Curitiba é o tema do presente trabalho. O município está localizado em uma Área de Preservação Ambiental, a APA Guaraqueçaba, próxima ao importante eixo econômico Curitiba-São Paulo e reconhecida pela UNESCO como Patrimônio Natural da Humanidade e Reserva da Biosfera, sendo também um dos ecossistemas mais conservados do mundo. Inserida em uma região com excelentes atrativos naturais, culturais e históricos, Guaraqueçaba carece de instalações adequadas que viabilizem a melhor estruturação do ecoturismo, importante alternativa econômica para as comunidades locais e instrumento de preservação ambiental nesta área sob a atuação de legislações restritivas. A proposta de um projeto, em estudo preliminar, de instalações ecoturísticas pontualmente inseridas visa possibilitar a melhor estruturação do ecoturismo na região, contribuindo para o desenvolvimento sócio-econômico de suas comunidades e conservação de seu ambiente. É a atuação de uma acupuntura ecoturística, cujo processo de pesquisa é neste trabalho relatado pela apresentação das características naturais e sociais da APA, pelo estudo das legislações incidentes e pelos critérios da arquitetura ecoturística que resultam nas propostas finais de atuação: o projeto. / The theme of this study is the proposed ecotourism architectural interventions in an environmental conservation area in the municipality of Guaraqueçaba, with approximately 8.000 inhabitants, located on the coast of the State of Paraná, 174km from the capital Curitiba. The municipality is located in an Area of Environmental Conservation, the Guaraqueçaba APA, close to the important Curitiba-São Paulo economic axis, and is recognized by UNESCO as a Natural Heritage of Humanity and Biosphere Reserve, in addition to being one of the worlds best preserved ecosystems. Located in a region with excellent natural, cultural and historical attractions, Guaraqueçaba lacks the proper facilities for a better ecotourism structure, an important economic alternative for the local communities and an instrument of environmental conservation in this area, which is subject to restrictive legislation. The preliminary study of the proposed project for the immediate installation of ecotourism facilities aims to improve the ecotourism structure of the region, while contributing to the socioeconomic development of its communities and to conserving its environment. Ecotourism acupuncture is being performed, whose research project is commented herein by presenting the natural and social features of the APA, by studying the pertinent legislation and the criteria of the ecotourism architecture resulting in the proposed final operation: the project.
