Previous issue date: 2014 / The Communication and Health field is the theme of this study. In order to develop the research, the Mundo Verde and Ponto Natural company websites were selected, with the objective to show how these companies relate the suggestions of food consumption in subsections called "Tips" to health and the prevention / treatment of diseases and investigate the congruent and divergent points between the recommendations made by the companies and those described in the Food Guide for the Brazilian Population 2014. Regarding the method, we elected to Depth Hermeneutics, with the methodological procedures of exploratory research, bibliographic and case studies. The analyzes showed the prevalence of suggestions that relate food to weight loss, to prevention / treatment of disease and to nutrients in the texts of the companies. / O campo Comunicação e Saúde é o tema desse estudo. Para o desenvolvimento da pesquisa foram selecionados os sites das organizações Mundo Verde e Ponto Natural, tendo como objetivos evidenciar como essas empresas relacionam as sugestões de consumo de alimentos presentes nas subseções de seus sites denominadas “Dicas” com a saúde e a prevenção/tratamento de doenças e investigar os pontos congruentes e divergentes entre as recomendações feitas pelas empresas e as descritas no Guia Alimentar para a População Brasileira 2014. Em relação ao Método, elegeu-se a Hermenêutica de Profundidade, tendo como procedimentos metodológicos a pesquisa exploratória, o levantamento bibliográfico e estudos de casos. As análises apontaram a prevalência de sugestões que relacionam os alimentos a peso/emagrecimento, à prevenção/tratamento de doenças e a nutrientes nos textos das empresas.
