The purpose of this investigation was to study the ability of various anterior pituitary hormones to act as antigens, and if antisera to one or more of these hormones could be obtained, to carry out immunologie studies on such antisera. Since pituitary hormones are proteins there is reason to believe that they must have some antigenic ability under the proper circumstances.
