As the title suggests, this diploma thesis is going to question the methods of the viola playing. The word methodology itself is quite a wide topic to discuss,
in the history of the books about music, this literature is very often dedicated to some analysis of the instrument as well as the player himself and their mutual connection and how to work on it. So these are usually overall technique tutorials and manuals given to improve the playing, full of images and pictures, which bring some promise of improvement if being followed word for word. Many books have been written by multiple writers, devoted to all sorts of instruments and each of them gave their imprint and if put altogether, they even might embrace the whole music player's capacity. The goal of the author here is not making another detailed methodology, focused on particular issues, he more wants to discuss the difference between the violin and the viola, since he has had the time to observe both in years and mainly he would like to share the knowledge obtained during his everyday studies, thus contribute or bring someting new to this world of methodology. The work is deeply focused on free-writing more than source-finding, therfore there are minimum of resources or links. It hopes to give help to the potential reader and same the author himself, as he would like to sort out his musical values.
