Význam evropských obchodních cest a jejich vazby k turismu

This diploma thesis is focused on the importance of European trade routes and their links to tourism. It is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. The first part is a processed literary review on the history and development of ancient trade routes, as well as the development of trails in selected area, the development of transport and the oldest ways of traveling. The second part deals with selected Amber trail (specifically Břeclavská route in eastern Moravia), which is considered the most famous and oldest trail in our area. The methods characterizes Břeclavská route Amber trail, landscape-ecological context and the used method, which is SWOT analysis. Next part contains the results obtained by the SWOT analysis, which describes the most important outputs regarding the Břeclavská route.
