Kolektivizace venkova ve vzpomínkách pamětníků z obcí Lhenice a Mičovice / Collectivization of the countryside in memories of witnesses from the localities Lhenice and Mičovice

The submitted thesis focuses on the period of forced collectivisation in rural Czechoslovakia and is a case study of the villages Lhenice and Mičovice. The focus of the work is to determine what images of collectivisation are still in the minds of the local residents and how this process affected the daily lives of their past.
The theoretical section explains the concepts of everyday life, socialistic everyday life, memory and collective memory. It was conducted in the form of oral history method and archive research. Thanks to this approach the work illustrates view of witnesses who lived during the process of collectivization. It deepens our understanding of Czechoslovak modern history through the perspective of local residents.
