nÃo hà / Apresentamos aqui uma pesquisa em Psicologia Social CrÃtica, a qual objetivou o estudo das identidades masculinas a partir da narrativa de histÃria de vida de um homem autuado pela Lei Maria da Penha na cidade de Fortaleza, CearÃ. Consideramos para o seu tecimento o aumento dos Ãndices de violÃncia com base em gÃnero nos Ãltimos anos no Brasil. A partir das discussÃes sobre esse fenÃmeno, percebemos que grande parte dos estudos sobre violÃncia de gÃnero aponta para a situaÃÃo de vulnerabilidade e desvantagem social/simbÃlica enfrentada pelas mulheres em diversas instituiÃÃes sociais. Contudo, sÃo mÃnimas as investigaÃÃes sobre os homens envolvidos em atos de violÃncia dessa ordem, fato que parece contribuir para a manutenÃÃo de estigmas e prÃticas punitivas sobre esses sujeitos. Portanto, este estudo buscou ampliar a anÃlise sobre o tema dos homens autores de violÃncia de gÃnero, explorando a compreensÃo das identidades â como metamorfose â dos homens envolvidos no fenÃmeno, tendo como objetivo geral compreender como se dà a narrativa de histÃria de vida de um homem autor desses atos na cidade de Fortaleza. Para a realizaÃÃo da investigaÃÃo, optamos pela pesquisa de carÃter qualitativo e o mÃtodo de narrativas de histÃria de vida para contemplar a histÃria de um homem nomeado aqui e somente aqui de Ãtalo BÃreas, o qual foi atendido pelo NÃcleo de Atendimento ao Homem Autor de ViolÃncia contra a Mulher, vinculado à Vara de ExecuÃÃo de Penas e Medidas Alternativas e Habeas Corpus na cidade de Fortaleza-CearÃ. As anÃlises desta histÃria de vida tiveram como eixo central o sintagma identidade-metamorfose-emancipaÃÃo a partir das contribuiÃÃes de AntÃnio Ciampa, AluÃsio Lima e Juracy Almeida, promovendo um diÃlogo com autoras e autores contemporÃneos nos campos da psicologia, sociologia e filosofia crÃticas. Como resultado das anÃlises, tecemos trÃs capÃtulos refletindo sobre os cenÃrios da vida de Ãtalo BÃreas, bem como os atravessamentos das diversas violÃncias ao longo de sua vida. Foram considerados os atravessamentos pessoais, familiares, institucionais, jurÃdico-legais e relacionais para a confecÃÃo de cenÃrios nos quais a perpetraÃÃo da violÃncia de gÃnero pode ter sido corroborada, questionada e possivelmente superada na composiÃÃo de personagens e suas expressÃes de masculinidades na vida de Ãtalo BÃreas ao longo do tempo. Essa discussÃo, portanto, intentou contribuir para o avanÃo na compreensÃo e enfrentamento da crescente perpetraÃÃo da violÃncia de gÃnero no Brasil, promovendo discussÃes e reflexÃes sobre o atual campo de estudos sobre masculinidades e violÃncia, tensionando propostas reflexivas sobre as prÃticas com homens para alÃm de uma perspectiva intimista e culpabilizante dos sujeitos, buscando contribuir para uma anÃlise social mais ampla que ponha em questÃo os cenÃrios sociais e de sociabilidade para a perpetuaÃÃo da violÃncia de gÃnero no exercÃcio da masculinidade hegemÃnica / We present here a research in Critical Social Psychology, which aimed at the study of
masculine identities from the narrative to life history of a man punished by the Maria da
Penha Law in the city of Fortaleza, CearÃ. We consider the increase in the rates of violence
based on gender in recent years in Brazil. From the discussions about this phenomenon, we
noticed that most of the studies on gender violence point to the situation of vulnerability and
social / symbolic disadvantage faced by women in various social institutions. Yer, research
on men involved in acts of violence of this order is minimal, a fact that seems to contribute
to the maintenance of stigma and punitive practices on these subjects. Therefore, this study
aimed to improve the analysis of the topic of the authors men of gender violence, exploring
the understanding of identities - as metamorphosis - of the men involved in the phenomenon
with the overall objective to understand how is the life story narrative of a author of these
acts in the city of Fortaleza. To carry out the research, we chose the qualitative research and
the method of life story narratives to contemplate the story of a man named here Italo Boreas,
which was attended by the Center for Attention to Violence Author man against Women,
linked to the Court of Execution of Penalties and Alternative Measures and Habeas Corpus
in the city of Fortaleza-CearÃ. The analysis of this life story had as its central axis the phrase
identity-metamorphosis-emancipation from the contributions of Antonio Ciampa, AluÃsio
Lima and Juracy Almeida, promoting a dialogue with authors and contemporary authors in
the fields of psychology, sociology and philosophy criticism. As a result of the analyzes, we
weave three chapters reflecting on the scenarios of the life of Italo Boreas, as well as the
crossings of the diverse violences throughout his life. Personal, family, institutional,
juridical-legal and relational crossings were considered in the creation of scenarios in which
the perpetration of gender violence may have been corroborated, questioned and possibly
overcome in the composition of characters and their expressions of masculinities in the life
of Ãtalo Boreas over time. This discussion thus brought contribute to the advancement in
understanding and addressing the growing perpetration of gender violence in Brazil,
promoting discussion and reflection on the current field of studies on masculinities and
violence, tensing reflective proposals about practices with men beyond an intimist and guilty
perspective of the subjects, seeking to contribute to a broader social analysis that calls into
question the social and sociability scenarios for the perpetuation of gender violence in the
exercise of hegemonic masculinity
