A UNIVERSIDADE PROMOTORA DA SAÚDE_CRISTIANO OLIVEIRA.pdf: 1391295 bytes, checksum: 051e5b3a5cef5167246163b7d104179d (MD5) / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) / As Universidades Promotoras da Saúde são instituições de ensino superior nas quais a promoção da saúde e qualidade de vida de seus membros é considerada parte do projeto institucional. Tal proposta tem sido desenvolvida em diferentes instituições de países na América Latina e Europa. No Brasil, este movimento ainda não possui grande repercussão e a adesão de instituições de ensino superior ao movimento internacional de Universidades Promotoras da Saúde ainda é irrisório e recente. Ademais, são escassos os estudos em língua portuguesa do Brasil sobre esta iniciativa. Tomando como referência este contexto, esta pesquisa realizou levantamento bibliográfico em língua portuguesa e espanhola acerca da construção, desenvolvimento, experiências e atualidades deste movimento, bem como, foi realizada revisão de literatura em dois bancos de dados científicos para descrição e análise do desenvolvimento das pesquisas em língua portuguesa e espanhola evolvendo o tema. Os resultados além de terem possibilitado a difusão do conhecimento sobre a proposta de Universidades Promotoras da Saúde, ocasionaram verificar oportunidades para o desenvolvimento de novas pesquisas envolvendo o tema. Por fim, foi apresentado uma proposição de desenvolvimento de promoção da saúde em Universidades Federais brasileiras tendo como base a assistência estudantil. / The universities that promote health are institutions of superior education, where the promotion of its member’s health and quality of life is considered part of the institutional project. This proposal has been developed in different institutions of Latin American and European countries. In Brazil, this movement does not have great repercussion yet, and the adhesion of superior education institutions with the international movement of the universities that promote health is still insignificant and recent. In addition, the studies in Portuguese language of Brazil about this initiative are too short. Based on this context, this research conducted a bibliographical survey in Portuguese and Spanish languages about the construction, development, experiences and current events of this movement, as well as, it was made a literature review in two scientific databases for description and research development analysis in Portuguese and Spanish languages, about the theme. The results also have made possible the dissemination of knowledge about the proposal of universities that promote health, resulted in checking opportunities for the development of new researches involving the theme. Finally, a proposal for the development of health promotion in Brazilian Federal Universities was presented, based on student assistance.
