Orientador: Relma Urel Carbone Carneiro / Banca: Eliana Marques Zanata / Banca: Luci Pastor Manzoli / Resumo: A escolarização do aluno surdo em escolas comuns requer, necessariamente, a atuação no contexto escolar do Professor Interlocutor de Libras (Língua Brasileira de Sinais). Dentro dessa temática, o papel do Professor Interlocutor de Libras em sala de aula envolve discussão e reflexões, pois sua atuação é confundida com a do professor regente, no entanto, eles desenvolvem papéis diferentes em sala de aula. O professor regente é a figura responsável pelo ensino, assim como, por seus alunos. O Professor Interlocutor atua na mediação de duas línguas, na relação entre o professor e o aluno surdo, aluno ouvinte e aluno surdo, estendendo-se a toda comunidade escolar. Em sala de aula, desempenha a função de interpretação dos conteúdos trabalhados pelo professor para à Língua de Sinais. Porém ultrapassa a função descrita, assumindo não só o papel de intérprete de Libras, mas também a função de ensinar. A pesquisa fundamenta-se em compreender a atuação desse profissional por meio dos relatos de sua práxis e o que de fato ele considera dentro do seu campo de atuação pertinente e a sua função na educação básica com o aluno surdo. Essa pesquisa teve como objetivo realizar um estudo sobre a atuação do Professor Intérprete de Libras no contexto escolar na educação básica, buscando investigar como se dá essa atuação, levando em conta o ambiente multicultural escolar, sem perder o foco no aluno surdo, bem como, nas duas culturas envolvidas (Cultura Ouvinte e Cultura Surda). (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: The deaf student's schooling in common schools necessarily requires the performance of the Interlocutor Teacher of Libras (Brazilian Language of Signals) in the school context. Into this theme, the role of Interlocutor Teacher of Libras in the classroom should involve discussion and reflections, because his performance is confused with the Regent Teacher, however, they develop different roles in the classroom. The Regent Teacher is responsible for teaching and for his students. The Interlocutor Teacher works at mediation of two languages, being between the teacher and the deaf student, student listener and deaf student, extending to the whole school community. In the classroom, it performs an interpreter function of the contents worked by the teacher for a sign language. However, it goes beyond the described function and assumes not only role of interpreter of Libras, but also the teaching's function. This research is based on understand the Interlocutor Teacher's performance by the reports of his praxis and what in fact he considers within his relevant field of action or his role in elementary school with the deaf student.
