La presente investigación aborda la situación actual de la mujer peruana de la región
Junín. Se ha revisado su evolución durante los últimos 20 años, como antecedente y se han
registrado las perspectivas que ellas tienen para lograr su desarrollo futuro en el ámbito
personal, económico, familiar y laboral hasta el año 2020, esta aproximación está basada en
entrevistas realizadas enfocando sus expectativas para los siguientes 10 años.
En los Capítulos I y II, se explica el propósito de la investigación y la metodología
que se utilizó. A partir del Capítulo III hasta el Capítulo VI, se presenta la información
recolectada de diversas instituciones que brindan publicaciones e información estadísticas
sobre la situación de la mujer entre los años 1990 y 2010. Para este período, se han revisado
la situación demográfica, el acceso a la educación y la salud, la participación social y política,
así como también la participación en la vida empresarial de las mujeres en la región Junín.
En el Capítulo VII se muestra la presentación y discusión de resultados en base al
trabajo de campo realizado en la región Junín. Finalmente se presentan las conclusiones
acerca de la evolución de la situación de la mujer de la región Junín describiendo sus
expectativas y obstáculos para los próximos años que se encuentran registradas en el Capítulo
VIII.
El propósito de los programas desarrollados por el centro de la mujer empresaria de
CENTRUM Católica, es contribuir a la competitividad y dinamismo de la mujer peruana.
Esta investigación utiliza el modelo cualitativo basado en entrevistas a profundidad y que fue
aplicado a una muestra de 24 mujeres que radican en la región Junín por un tiempo mínimo
de dos años. El resultado de la investigación señala que, a pesar de los obstáculos típicos de
su género, las mujeres perseveran en lograr sus expectativas / The present study addresses the actual situation of the Peruvian women in the Junin
region. Their evolution during the last 20 years was reviewed as a precedent and the
perspectives that they have to reach their future development in a personal, economic,
familial and labor scope until the year 2020 were registered; this approximation is based on
interviews realized focusing their expectations for the next 10 years.
Chapters I and II explain the purpose of the investigation and the methodology that
was used. Beginning with Chapter III and through Chapter VI, the information collected from
various institutions that provide publications and statistical information on the situation of
women from 1990 and 2010 are presented. For this period, the demographic situation, the
access to education and health, the social and political participation as well as the
participation in the business world of the women in Junin are reviewed.
Chapter VII shows the presentation and discussion of the results based on the field
work done in the Junin region. Finally, the conclusions about the evolution of the situation of
women in that region describing their expectations and obstacles for the next few years are
presented and can be found registered in Chapter VIII.
The purpose of the programs developed by the center of the business women of
CENTRUM Catolica is to contribute to the competiveness and dynamism of the Peruvian
woman. This study uses the qualitative model based on in-depth interviews; which was
applied to a sample of 24 women that have lived in the Junin region for at least two years.
The result of the investigation states that, in spite of the obstacles typical of their gender,
