Teknikämnet i grundskolan har granskats av skolinspektionen och att undervisningen sällan utgår från kursplanen. Dessutom utgår inte undervisningen från elevernas intressen och erfarenheter. Det saknas samsyn mellan lärarna kring hur läroplanen skall tolkas och hur undervisningen skall genomföras. Oklarheter gör det svårt för lärare att överblicka teknikämnets avseende mål och undervisning. Samtidigt är teknik helt klart ett framtidsämne med stor betydelse för samhälle, skola och elever. Detta examensarbete har som syfte att undersöka hur lärare i årskurserna 7-9 kan utveckla sin teknikundervisning i relation till kursplanen. I denna undersökning framgår att lärarna i alltför hög grad utgår från elevernas förkunskaper, erfarenheter och intressen när de planerar teknikundervisningen. Granskningen visar att mina informanter känner sig osäkra på kursplanen samt det förhållningssätt och metoder som är utmär¬kande för teknikämnet och som medför ett effektivt lärande i teknik. Det gäller både för lärare med behörighet att undervisa i ämnet och de som saknar en sådan. Lärarna anser att det saknar ändamålsenliga lokaler, utrustning och materiel för att lärarna ska kunna undervisa eleverna utifrån det centrala innehållet. För att eleverna skall få en möjlighet att utveckla teknikvetenskapliga kunskaper genom att prova och ompröva sina idéer. / The technical subject in the elementary school has been reviewed by the school inspector and that the teaching is rarely based on the syllabus. In addition, the teaching is not based on the students' interests and experiences. There is no consensus among the teachers about how the curriculum should be interpreted and how the teaching should be implemented. Clouds make it difficult for teachers to overlook the technology subject's goals and teaching. At the same time, technology is clearly a topic of the future with great significance for society, school and students. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how teachers in grades 7-9 can develop their technology teaching in relation to the syllabus. In this survey, it is clear that the teachers are too much based on the students' prior knowledge, experience and interests when planning the technology teaching. The review shows that my informants feel insecure about the syllabus as well as the approaches and methods that are excellent for the technology subject and which entails effective learning in technology. This applies both to teachers with the right to teach the subject and those who do not have one. The teachers believe that there is no suitable premises, equipment and equipment for the teachers to be able to teach the students based on the central content. To give students an opportunity to develop technical science knowledge by trying and retesting their ideas.
