This thesis explores the nature of building in a tower form at the special edge between land and water. Secondly, it pursues a coherent order both formal and ontological based on a circular geometry. This proposition is in the form of a tower/terminal for the Staten Island Ferry in New York City. It targets certain issues of circularity, permanence, and solidity which have become recurrent pursuits of the author. This entire inquiry is presented through the utilization of photographs, drawings, and text. / Master of Architecture
