Previous issue date: 2007-12-12 / This study, entitled Journalism and Literature a possible relationship, starts
with a theoretical investigation of literary narrative, of the production of feature articles
and of the elements these two genres have in common. Its objective is to analyze four
cover articles published in the weekly magazines Veja and IstoÉ, seeking to determine
the kind of influence journalism receives from literature, especially in what concerns the
point of view, the conflict and the predominant the type of prose (expository,
descriptive or narrative) / Este estudo tem como título: Jornalismo e literatura uma relação possível.
Seu intuito, a partir de uma investigação teórica a respeito da narrativa literária, da
produção de reportagem e dos elementos em comum entre as duas narrativas, é analisar
quatro edições da revista Veja e quatro edições da revista IstoÉ, verificando que tipo de
influência o jornalismo recebe da literatura, no que se refere ao narrador; ao tipo de
construção da narrativa, especialmente no que diz respeito ao conflito; e à tipologia
textual predominante (dissertação, descrição e narração propriamente dita
