Previous issue date: 2018-03-27 / A imaginação é parte indissociável do anthropos (MORIN, 2015; 2012; 2011),
integrando todas as dimensões existentes na sociedade e cultura. Partindo
desse pressuposto, a presente pesquisa objetiva problematizar a manifestação
do imaginativo no plano sociocultural, adotando a narrativa romanesca de O
Meu Pé de Laranja Lima (1995) como principal campo de estudo. Isso porque o
romance conta a história de Zezé, um menino que faz uso da imaginação na
leitura da realidade, através da qual ele imprime em si e nos outros
personagens romanescos significados múltiplos oriundos de seu mundo
imaginado. Com isso, as imagens literárias (BACHELARD, 2008b) presentes
no romance serão lidas sob inspiração do devaneio poético voltado à infância
(BACHELARD, 2009), uma vez que identifico em Zezé atributos relacionados
com esse infante sonhador bachelardiano. O percurso teórico-metodológico da
pesquisa está orientado pela fenomenologia da imaginação poética de Gaston
Bachelard (2009; 2008), tendo em vista que me proponho a realizar uma leitura
poética do romance balizado pelas imagens literárias gestadas em devaneio de
leitura. Observei que no decorrer do enredo experiências traumáticas
contribuíram para a supressão do potencial imaginativo de Zezé,
condicionando-o a uma apreensão racional da realidade, não mais amparada
pela poeticidade dos seus sonhos e amigos imaginados. Assim, o imaginar não
fazia de Zezé uma criança com atributos de ingenuidade ou passividade –
diferindo do comumente associado às crianças e a imaginação. Ao contrário, o
potencial imaginativo do menino lhe possibilitava reinventar sua realidade por
meio dos sentimentos e ações instigadas pelas imagens poeticamente
imaginadas. / Imagination is an inseparable part of the anthropos (MORIN, 2015; 2012; 2011),
integrating all existing dimensions in society and culture. Based on this
assumption, the present research aims to problematize the imaginative
manifestation in the sociocultural realm, adopting the romanesque narrative of
My Sweet Orange Tree (1995) as the main focus of study. The novel tells the
story of Zeze, a boy who uses his imagination in reading reality, leaving a mark
of the multiple meanings from his imagined world in himself and in the other
characters. Thus, the literary images (BACHELARD, 2008b) present in the
novel are read under the inspiration of the poetic daydreaming during childhood
(BACHELARD, 2009), since we identify attributes related to such dreamy
bachelardian infant in Zeze. The theoretical-methodological course of the
research is guided by Gaston Bachelard's (2009; 2008) phenomenology of
poetic imagination, considering that we propose a poetic reading of the novel
based on the literary images generated in reading daydream. We observed that
in the course of the plot traumatic experiences contributed to the suppression of
Zeze's imaginative potential, conditioning him to a rational apprehension of
reality, no longer supported by the poeticity of his imagined dreams and friends.
Therefore, imagining did not make Zeze a child with attributes of naivety or
passivity - differing from what is commonly associated to children and
imagination. On the contrary, the boy's imaginative potential enabled him to
reinvent his reality through the feelings and actions instigated by poetically
imagined images.
