An assessment of the performance of health and safety strategies for managing lead waste : the case of Exxaro, Namibia

Business School. / This study investigates the extent to which levels of awareness of lead poisoning among mine workers at the Exxaro lead and zinc mine in Namibia correlate to their levels of compliance. Specifically, the study investigates the extent to which mine workers are aware of lead poisoning and whether this knowledge influences their attitudes towards compliance to regulations on handling hazardous materials.
