Gli Atti di Andrea e Bartolomeo sono un testo cristiano apocrifo, probabilmente ascrivibile al V secolo d.C. e collocabile in àmbito egizio. Tale testo è tramandato in greco, copto, arabo ed etiopico e il presente lavoro consiste nell’edizione critica della versione greca, sinora inedita. La storia narra l’evangelizzazione della Partia per opera degli apostoli Andrea e Bartolomeo e di un antropofago dalle sembianze mostruose (Cristomeo/ Cristiano), convertito al cristianesimo e divenuto instrumentum fidei. / The Acts of Andrew and Bartholomew is an apocryphal Christian text, probably ascribable to V century A.D. and to an Egyptian background. This text is transmitted in Greek, Coptic, Arabic and Ethiopian and the present work consists of a critical edition of the Greek version, still inedited. The story tells about the evangelization of Parthia through the apostles Andrew and Bartholomew and through an anthropophagus with monstrous aspect (Cristomaios/Christian), who was converted and became instrumentum fidei.
