Previous issue date: 2009 / A comparative study of the recalling memories present in the book As pequenas memórias (Small memories), by the Portuguese writer José Saramago and the literary work present in the corpus given by the author in his memories, which is the following: Manual de pintura e caligrafia (The Manual of Painting and Calligraphy), Memorial do convento (Baltasar and Blimunda), O Evangelho segundo Jesus Cristo (The Gospel according to Jesus Christ), Ensaio sobre a cegueira (Blindness) e Todos os nomes (All the names). The dialogue between themes, life experience and characters that have been recovered by Saramago in his memories and its transposition into his fictional works aims to identify how those fragmented recollections presents in the memorialistic text, had served as literary material for the novels of the writer. / Estudo comparativo entre a matéria recordada na obra As pequenas memórias, de José Saramago e a ficcionalização dessas vivências no corpus de romances estabelecido pelo próprio autor, no livro memorialístico, qual seja: Manual de pintura e caligrafia, Memorial do convento, O Evangelho segundo Jesus Cristo, Ensaio sobre a cegueira e Todos os nomes. O diálogo entre temas, vivências e personagens recordados nas memórias e sua transposição para as obras ficcionais pretende averiguar como o vivido, recordado no texto memorialístico, serviu de matéria literária para os romances do escritor.
