This Master's thesis consists of three sections. First, it examines the question of the subject in Samuel Beckett's work through a close reading of Cap au pire, the French translation of Worstward Ho, showing that beyond its endeavour towards a mere nothing or a transcendent being, the poem as artwork creates its own reality in engaging a subjectivity through its enunciation. A second short section presents the creative writing section and addresses its relations with the critique section on the postulate that the artwork is conditioned by its enunciation thus its subject. The last section of the thesis proposes a mourning account in which a speaker trying to relieve himself from his sorrow through the process of writing reconstructs in his discourse the fragmented memory of the disease, agony and death of his sister and his own evolution towards it. / Ce mémoire est composé de trois parties. Il propose dans un premier temps une critique du sujet chez Samuel Beckett à partir d'une lecture rapprochée de Cap au pire, montrant qu'au-delà d'une tentative d'atteindre un rien immanent ou un être transcendant, le poème fabrique sa réalité propre en engageant à même son énonciation un processus de subjectivation. Une deuxième courte section présente la partie création en abordant quelques-unes de ses relations avec la partie critique à partir du postulat que l'énonciation, donc le sujet, conditionne l'œuvre. La dernière partie du mémoire est composée d'un récit de deuil dans lequel un sujet cherchant à se délester de ses « maux » par l'écriture reconstitue dans son discours la mémoire fragmentée de la maladie, de l'agonie et de la mort de sa sœur et de sa propre évolution vis-à-vis de celle-ci.
