This Diploma thesis deals with the international logistics chain of live animals and their individual components. The aim is to analyze the entire logistics chain, to find its current disadvantages and options to remove them. The work came to the conclusion that the removal of these disadvantages would bring benefits for companies engaged in international transport of live animals. The main awaited results are reducing business costs and improving the conditions of transport of animals and their welfare.
