Previous issue date: 2015-05-15 / Recent research has explored and demonstrated that there are still gaps in the academic and organizational level on organizational change and organizational culture. In order to clarify the understanding of how organizations deploy changes across their cultural characteristics, several studies have pointed to a promising path. This research aimed to characterize, from the current perspective of managers of an agribusiness cooperative, organizational changes and identify aspects related to organizational culture. The research method employed was the single case study, exploratory, with qualitative approach and design of historical and longitudinal survey. Data were collected from document analysis and semi-structured interviews. Data analysis was carried out using the technique of content analysis and triangulation. The collected data and the analysis of these data it was possible to identify and characterize two episodes of organizational change. The identification and characterization of these changes came from the observation of the presence of organizational change attributes mentioned in the literature.Also, the survey enabled the analysis of the perception of managers on organizational culture in organizational change. The description of these perceptions came from the observation of the presence of the attributes of organizational culture in the literature. It was possible to understand that episodes of organizational change, agro-industrialization and poultry activities as well as the perceptions of current managers about the organizational culture in the implemented changes, the dominance by the leaders of the group Culture Development, focusing on values like flexibility, growth and innovation, and by the Managers and Technicians groups predominate Hierarchical Culture, focusing on valuessuch as teamwork, participation and concern for ideas. The results also allowed an approach to the study so that it is possible to identify and characterize the organizational change and describe the perception of managers on organizational culture, strengthening the proposals from previous studies and indicating paths for future research on this topic. / Recentes pesquisas t?m explorado e evidenciado que ainda h? hiatos no ?mbito acad?mico e organizacional sobre as mudan?as organizacionais e a cultura organizacional. No intuito de clarificar a compreens?o sobre a forma como as organiza??es implantam mudan?as frente suas caracter?sticas culturais, diversas pesquisas t?m apontado para um caminho promissor. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo caracterizar, a partir da perspectiva atual dos gestores de uma cooperativa agroindustrial, as mudan?as organizacionais e identificar aspectos relacionados ? cultura organizacional. O m?todo de pesquisa empregado foi o de estudo de caso ?nico, de natureza explorat?ria, com abordagem predominantemente qualitativa e delineamento de levantamento hist?rico-longitudinal. Os dados foram coletados a partir de an?lise documental e entrevistas semiestruturadas. A an?lise dos dados foi realizada a partir da t?cnica da an?lise de conte?do e da triangula??o. Dos dados coletados e da an?lise desses dados foi poss?vel identificar e caracterizar dois epis?dios de mudan?a organizacional. A identifica??o e caracteriza??o dessas mudan?as ocorreu a partir da constata??o da presen?a dos atributos de mudan?a organizacional apontadas na literatura. Igualmente, a pesquisa possibilitou a an?lise da percep??o dos gestores sobre a cultura organizacional nas mudan?as organizacionais.A descri??o dessas percep??es ocorreu a partir da constata??o da presen?a dos atributos da cultura organizacional na literatura. Foi poss?vel compreender que os epis?dios de mudan?a organizacional, agroindustrializa??o e atividades av?colas, bem como a percep??o dos atuais gestores acerca da cultura organizacional nas mudan?as implementadas, a predomin?ncia por parte do grupo de Dirigentes na Cultura de Desenvolvimento, com foco nos valores como a flexibilidade, o crescimento e a inova??o e, por parte dos grupos de Chefias e T?cnicos predominam a Cultura Hier?rquica, com foco nos valores como trabalho em equipe, participa??o e a preocupa??o com as ideias. Os resultados ainda permitiram uma abordagem para o estudo de modo que fosse poss?vel identificar e caracterizar a mudan?a organizacional e descrever a percep??o dos gestores sobre a cultura organizacional, refor?ando as proposi??es de estudos anteriores e indicando caminhos para futuras pesquisas com essa tem?tica.
