"This paper will consider the critical reception of Madariaga's major English works by the important reviewing media in England and the United States. The Book Review Digest has been the major tool in gathering data. Its concise summaries of books have been used to indicate the scope and content of the books. It has also been used as a source of critical opinion found in the general reviewing media.
