The diploma thesis deals with processing of a business plan of setting up a own business – patisserie in Nové Město na Moravě. Theoretical part includes theoretical knowledge of a business, detail description of business plan and his parts, analytical methods and tools. The aim of analytic part is identification key factor and selection of the best strategy of business that will meet customers needs and generate profit. Suggestions of this thesis compiled financial, marketing and time aspects of the project including risk assessment.
