Today it is not unusual to use a secondary screen to accompany a primary screen. The possibility to integrate these two in the form of an application for the secondary screen have long been possible but have not been developed to full potential. This thesis aims to study the use of the extra information and functions this type of application would make possible and how this type of application could be used. For this study a prototype-application including a real time newsfeed and a static menu for a specific episode of a Tv-series was created based on the information collected in an online survey. The application was tested on a number of people who got to evaluate the experience in short interviews and were given the possibility to recommend changes in the application. The result after the study showed the people where torn about what kind of information would best fit the application but showed over all that a dynamic newsfeed with information continuously updated with the episode where most appreciated. The problem with the difference in interest around the categories would be solved first and foremost by the application being configurable so that every single user has the possibility to choose which kind of information to be updated in the newsfeed. Further the study showed that the participants overall had the opinion that the Tv-series where more fun to watch with the use of the application. Thus we concluded that focus was not a big problem, all the participants kept up with the episode in whole and assimilated all the information in the newsfeed. / Det är idag inte ovanligt att tillsammans med en primär skärm använda en extern sekundär skärm. Möjligheten att integrera dessa i form av en applikation på den sekundära skärmen har varit möjlig länge men har inte utvecklats till sin fulla potential. Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka användandet av den extra information samt de funktioner denna typ av applikation skulle kunna möjliggöra och hur en sådan applikation skulle kunna användas. För denna undersökning skapades en prototyp-applikation med stöd av information insamlad i en enkätundersökning. Prototypen innehöll ett nyhetsflöde med realtidsinformation samt en statisk meny för ett specifikt avsnitt av en Tv-serie. Applikationen testades sedan på ett antal personer som fick utvärdera upplevelsen i korta intervjuer. Det gavs även möjligheten att rekommendera förändringar till prototypen. Resultatet efter undersökningen blev att bilden av de olika typer av information som personer vill ha är väldigt splittrat, men över lag var ett dynamiskt uppdaterat nyhetsflöde med information kontinuerligt till avsnittet mest uppskattat. Problemet gällande splittringen i intresse för olika typer av information skulle kunna lösas främst av att applikationen är konfigurerbar så att varje enskild användare har möjlighet att själv välja vilken typ av information som är aktuell för nyhetsflödet. Vidare visade det sig att deltagarna överlag i undersökningen tyckte att Tv-serien blev roligare i samband med användandet av applikationen. Dessutom kom vi fram till att fokus inte var ett stort problem. Alla deltagare hängde med i avsnittet som helhet och tog till sig all information i nyhetsflödet.
