Šiame magistro tiriamajame darbe aptariama augalo reikšmė ir jo panaudojimas kaip raiškos priemonė šiuolaikiniame mene. Aprašomi menininkų darbai, kuriami iš šios netradicinės žaliavos. Aptariamos idėjos, kurių dėka prieinama prie išvadų, kokia apskritai dažniausiai pasirenkama tema tokiam kūriniui, kokios problemos iškeliamos. Tokių darbų vis daugėja, tačiau jie dar itin mažai tyrinėti, randama informacija daugiausiai užsienio kalba. Ši tema aktuali šiuolaikiniam menui, kuris stebina savo šuoliais per meno kryptis. Those types of works these days are becoming seen more often, on the other hand they are not examined enough, there is information that you can find more in foreign language. This topic is true for modern art, which siurprises with the movement of art tendencies. There is more than plant expression, but the meanings and values in our lifes of it. Therefore, the field of interests are more wider than art. Plant by itself has a lot of symbolism, traditions, it is important for ideas, it becomes the best measure.
