Previous issue date: 2006-08-25 / Financiadora de Estudos e Projetos / The present research work relates with the musical formation subject of teachers
from basic education initial grades and had as objective to discuss and characterize the
musical formation of three teachers licensed in pedagogy, emphasizing the initial stage role
(graduation course) of this formative passage professional professor. This inquiry
methodology was placed in the Qualitative Research scope, approaching the Bibliographical
Research, prioritizing the data collection related to the teachers musical formation by halfstructuralized
interviews and using the analytical descriptive method for the collected
information exposition. The first chapter presents the bibliographical revision on the thematic
of the teachers formation in present time, emphasizing the formative passage different stages.
The second succinctly delineates the active teachers musical formation working at the initial
basic education grades throughout the years, since the Brazilian Normal Schools creation until
the current pedagogy courses and, by its end, shows some correlate researches already carried
out in the teachers initial musical formation scope, studies that aims at demonstrating how
such formations are configured nowadays. The third chapter explicates the methodological
ways covered by this study, as well as the interviewed educators profiles. And the last one
brings the exposition and discussion of the collected information, which were classified and
organized from five analytical categories: Artistic-musical formation in the pre-training
phase; Specific musical formation; Initial musical formation; Complementary pedagogicalmusical
formation comedy; and Teaching initiation. The data interpretation glimpsed that the
initial musical formation is only one of the formative course stages, which supplies the
necessary theoretical and methodology bases so that teachers start teaching and search for a
permanent and continuous musical formation. / O presente trabalho de pesquisa relaciona-se com o tema da formação musical das
professoras das séries iniciais do ensino fundamental e teve por objetivo discutir e caracterizar
a formação musical de três professoras licenciadas em Pedagogia, destacando o papel da etapa
inicial (curso de graduação) dentro deste percurso formativo profissional docente. A
metodologia desta investigação situou-se no âmbito da Pesquisa Qualitativa, abordando a
Pesquisa Bibliográfica, priorizando a coleta de dados relacionados à formação musical das
professoras por meio de entrevistas semi-estruturadas e utilizando o método analítico
descritivo para a exposição das informações coletadas. O primeiro capítulo apresenta a
revisão bibliográfica sobre a temática da formação das professoras na atualidade, destacando
as diferentes etapas do percurso formativo. O segundo delineia sucintamente a formação
musical das professoras atuantes nas séries iniciais do ensino fundamental ao longo dos anos,
desde a criação das Escolas Normais brasileiras até os cursos de Pedagogia atuais e, ao seu
final, mostra algumas pesquisas correlatas já realizadas no âmbito da formação musical inicial
das professoras, estudos estes que visam demonstrar como se configura tal formação na
contemporaneidade. O terceiro capítulo explicita os caminhos metodológicos percorridos por
este estudo, bem como o perfil das educadoras entrevistadas. E o último, traz a exposição e a
discussão das informações coletadas, as quais foram classificadas e organizadas a partir de
cinco categorias analíticas: Formação artístico-musical na fase do pré-treino; Formação
musical específica; Formação musical inicial; Formação pedagógico-musical complementar; e
Iniciação à docência. A interpretação dos dados vislumbrou que a formação musical inicial é
apenas uma das etapas do percurso formativo, a qual fornece as bases teóricas e
metodológicas necessárias para que as professoras comecem a ensinar e para que busquem a
formação musical permanente e contínua.
