Jan Pelar is an integral part of the cultural heritage of Wallachia. He personally represented Wallachian culture at Ethnographic Exhibition in Prague in 1895. On this occasion he obtained his first musician concession. Reportedly, he composed the Wallachian anthem, "My sme Valaši" on his way to Prague. This work will focus on his musical career and his personal life which was extraordinary.
