Thesis advisor: Amir H. Hoveyda / Formation of C-C bonds is an invaluable tool for the construction of materials, pharmaceuticals, natural products, and the building blocks of life. Although great strides in this area have been made, there remain several limitations in regio-, site-, and enantioselective additions of carbon-based nucleophiles.
