Under financial merger and acquisition the managerial strategies of the commercial banks ¡Vwith Resource-based view.

Since 1991,the govement deregulated establishment of new banks. Banks¡¦ earning ability has suffered a large-scale decline as a result of gradual reduction in interest differentials ,high homogeneity among financial products offered by various banks, and severe price competition.
Upon joined with the WTO (World Trade Organization) in 2002, the government implemented the first stage of financial reformation. Following the establishment and implementation of the ¡§Financial Institution Merger Act¡¨ and ¡§Financial Holding company Law¡¨ on Nov.1, 2001. , fourteen financial holding companies have been established in Taiwan. Consequently, the financial institutions are permitted to operate across different fields of businesses, such as bankings, securities, life insurance, property and liability insurance, and other related businesses.Is it the only way that banks get the competition advantage?
Therefore the purpose of this research is to explore the following matters¡G
1. To understand the trend towards of bank M&A .
2. To analyze which kind of resource that can make bank get advantage.
3. To understand the response strategies of banking.
4. To understand the response strategies of finance holding companies.
