Sammanfattning Kremering av avlidna ökar i Stockholm och behovet av ytterligare ett krematorium är stort. Konceptet och idén till projektet utgår från tanken om att livet är föränderligt och att alla människors liv och intryck är olika. Hypotesen för projektet är ett krematorium uppdelat i tre delar med tre entréer. En entré för anhöriga, en för personal och en för begravningsentreprenörerna. Ett krematorium, med sammanfogade volymer och växlande höjder med materialitet som kontrasterar mot varandra, det beständiga, det föränderliga. Exteriört består krematoriet av fem sammanfogade byggnadskroppar med växlande höjder. Byggnaden har fasader i bärande betong med fönsterpartier som bryter upp det kompakta intrycket av betongen och skapar inblickar och utblickar samt tillför ljus till krematoriet. Två av byggnadskropparna har fasader av koppar, En högtidlig och ceremoniell känsla, utan religiös anknytning, har funnits med som en grundidé i projektet och löper som en röd tråd genom samtliga delar av krematoriet. / Abstract Cremation of the dead is increasing and there is a huge need for another crematorium in the Stockholm area. The concept and idea of the project proceeds from the idea that life is variably and that life of each human being is different and unique. The hypothesis for the project is a crematorium divided into three parts with separate entrances: one for the relatives, one for the staff and one for the undertakers. A crematorium, with merged volumes and various heights and materials that contrast, the eternal, the inconstant. The exterior consists of five buildings attached to each other, with a variety of heights. The trimming is made of load-bearing concrete with sections of windows, breaking up the compact impression of the concrete, creating views and insights and permits daylight into the crematorium. Two of the buildings have coppertrimming. A solemn and ceremonial feeling, without religious connection, has been the basic idea and theme for all parts of the crematorium.
