L’objectif de cette recherche est d’explorer l’habité des Inuit de la communauté de Kangirsujuaq, au Nunavik, Québec. Plus précisément, cette recherche se penche sur la manière dont ces derniers habitent leur espace domestique au travers de leur capacité à s’approprier leur habitation. L’habité des Kangirsujuarmiut laisse apparaître une forte résilience culturelle, où l’habité nomade demeure encore prédominant dans les représentations, et ce, dans un contexte où la culture inuit est confrontée à d’importants éléments culturels exogènes. Cette étude démontre une dynamique importante de la mobilité qui lie l’espace domestique à la communauté, mais aussi au territoire tout en étant dans une situation fortement institutionnalisée. / The objective of this research is to explore how Inuit of the community of Kangirsujuaq, in Nunavik, Quebec occupies their space. More specifically, this research examines how these occupy their domestic space through their ability of appropriation and how Kangirsujuarmiut live in their house, imbued with a strong cultural resilience of the nomad way of life. Also, this research explores how they built their own and specific space in a context where exogenous elements of the Inuit culture are present. This study demonstrates an important dynamic of mobility linking domestic space to the community, but also to the territory while being in a highly institutionalized situation.
