Using a theoretical framework of constructionism the study identifies amongst those interviewed an 'ecological postmodern cosmology.' This is used to formulate ideas about how this cosmology could inform nurses' work enabling them to create an environment of care and compassion. / Thesis (Ph.D.)--University of Adelaide, Dept. of Clinical Nursing, 1996
