This thesis deals with developing a configurator of furniture with introducing options of configuration. The concept of configuration is described and the analyse of available configurators of furniture on the internet is formulated. In theoretical part the requirements for modern furniture manufacturing and information flow in production is clarified. Requirements on CAD/CAM in furniture industry are summarized.
