This thesis deals with tourism issue in general at first. Then tries to analyze the situation of tourism in developing countries and focuses on Peru. It gives some examples of successful projects of adventure tourism in Peru and analyzes the socio-economic impact of tourism to the country. It characterizes the Cusco region, which is situated in the south of Peru. The next part of the thesis proposes a project of adventure tourism in Paru Paru area in Cusco region. This project can be called the small local project. It discusses its importance and benefits, suggests the exact steps of the project, its budget and possible risks. It also suggests the time schedule.
