A Photographic Study of City of Rocks

This creative report deals with the project of photographing a remote area inĀ· Southern Idaho, near Almo, called City of Rocks. The photographer worked in the tradition of "Straight Photography." The goal was not to document the area but to make images about what one might feel from the subjects rather than images about the subject. The hope was that the resulting photographs would have a "life sense of their own."
