La investigación partió de hechos inductivos y deductivos del acontecer académico curricular referente a los enfoques ideológico, pedagógico y salud del marco doctrinario que venía orientando los Planes Curriculares de la Facultad de Enfermería de la Universidad Nacional de San Cristóbal de Huamanga (UNSCH), desde su creación hasta 1999, fecha en que se aprueba el último Plan Curricular, y por otro lado de la necesidad de examinar la coherencia interna de los sílabos de las asignaturas profesionales de los Planes de Estudio 1986 y 1994.
La investigación está considerada dentro de la línea de investigación tecnología educativa.
Uno de los objetivos principales que se trazaron fue, el de, analizar los enfoques ideológico pedagógico y de salud del marco doctrinario que determinaron la enseñanza de enfermería, frente a ello se planteó la hipótesis general; “la estructura económica condiciona el lugar y la forma de articulación de la educación y la medicina en la estructura social y por ende en el proceso de enseñanza de enfermería en la UNSCH”. El problema de naturaleza cualitativa cuantitativa en que la unidad de estudio y la unidad de análisis lo constituyó los Planes de Estudio 1986 y 1994; empleando como método central el histórico.
Entre las conclusiones más relevantes a las que se arribó fueron, que la teoría de tendencia pragmática y neopositivista constituyó el núcleo orientador de la estructura académico curricular, y en salud correspondió a una confluencia de ideologías idealistas, en una economía dependiente, recomendándose al estamento docente su reflexión y análisis sobre los enfoques ideológicos intervinientes en la actividad académico curricular como una de las estrategias para desencadenar acciones de mejoramiento continuo.

Among the most excellent conclusiones to those that you arrived were that, the theory of pragmatic tendency and Neopositivista constitute the nucleus orientador of the curricular academic structure, and in health it corresponded to a fork of idealistic ideologies in a dependent economy, being recommended to the rducational estamento their reflection and analysis on the focuses ideological interveners in the activity curricular academic as one of the strtegies to unchain actions of improvement continuous
