Previous issue date: 2007 / Introduction: Studies about the aging of these professional people that work in Public Security Force are needed in order they can carry out their citizen conditions, with the right to have a good life, especially when they get old and retire. The focus at the conception of aging, to the imaginary and to a background that includes in its transversality contents of apprenticeship of reference for life quality and retirement. General Objective: To propose points of reference in order to help the argumentation about the need of a Government Policy, to make possible to the police force to age with better quality of life. Specific Objectives: a)To analyze the aging conception of Militar Police Force still at work, under a psychologic sight identifying the way how they are living with their aging and how they think how they should age; b) to analyze the conception of aging implicit at the imaginary associated to the phenomenon; c) to analyze the background and its articulation with the conception and imaginary about aging; d) to analyze paradigmatic orientation implicit in the conceptions and the imaginary; e) to identify the implicit contradictions in the participants depositions. C. ; Altet, M. ; Baillauquès, S. Method: Qualitative research in a dialogic perspective implicit to the complexity in triangulation with Penn’s semeology at article 1. At articles 2 and 3, the triangulation was with the phenomenology. Results: In the article 1 the main results suggest that the conception of aging implicit in the imaginary of Militar Police Force that participate in this study shows simplifying a paradigmatic orientation where the aging is associated basically to a biological dimension. At article 2 the results also indicate the presence of aging concept with answers from different ego states. The article 3 points to implications as a result of the conception with the simplifying paradigmatic orientations of professional background for an aging with quality. Conclusions: this way is confirmed the thesis: Police Force at an intermediate level, from Militar Police of Porto Alegre/RS, have aging concepts, imaginary and conception simplifying of professional background. / Introdução: Estudos sobre o envelhecimento de profissionais que atuam em Segurança Pública se fazem necessários para que estes profissionais possam exercer sua condição de cidadãos, com direito a construir uma vida com qualidade, especialmente em sua velhice, já na reserva. A atenção à concepção de envelhecimento, ao imaginário associado e à formação que inclua em sua transversalidade conteúdo de aprendizagem, qualidade de vida e aposentadoria. Objetivo Geral: Propor pontos de referência que auxiliem na argumentação da necessidade de políticas públicas que possibilitem aos policiais envelhecerem com melhor qualidade de vida. Objetivos específicos: a) Analisar a concepção de envelhecimento de policiais militares ainda na ativa, numa perspectiva psicológica, identificando a forma como vêm convivendo com seu envelhecimento e como pensam que deveriam envelhecer; b) Analisar a concepção de envelhecimento implícita no imaginário associado ao fenômeno; c) Analisar a concepção de Formação e sua articulação com a concepção e imaginário sobre envelhecimento; d) Analisar a orientação paradigmática implícita nas concepções e no imaginário; e) identificar contradições implícitas nos depoimentos dos participantes. C. ; Altet, M. ; Baillauqués, S.Método: Pesquisa qualitativa, numa perspectiva dialógica implícita ao método da complexidade em triangulação com a semiologia de Penn, no artigo 1. Nos artigos 2 e 3 a triangulação se deu com a fenomenologia. Resultados: No artigo 1, os principais resultados sugerem que a concepção de envelhecimento implícita no imaginário dos policiais militares participantes do estudo apresenta orientação paradigmática simplificadora, onde o envelhecimento está associado basicamente à dimensão biológica. No artigo 2 são apresentados resultados que indicam também a presença de concepção de envelhecimento com orientação paradigmática simplificadora e de contradições entre respostas vindas a partir de diferentes estados do ego. O artigo 3 aponta em seus resultados, para as implicações resultantes da concepção com orientação paradigmática simplificadora de formação profissional para um envelhecimento com qualidade. Conclusões: Desta forma, fica confirmada a tese: Policiais em nível intermediário, da Polícia Militar de Porto Alegre/RS têm concepções de envelhecimento, imaginário e concepção de formação profissional simplificadoras.
