MUDr. Jiří Radvanský CSc. The year of presentation: 2017 Abstract: There is a number of studies demonstrating the positive effects of supervised exercise therapy on patients with anorexia nervosa. Recent literature suggests that an appropriate physical activity may improve the quality of life during inpatient treatment, increase weekly weight gain, reduce eating pathology and lower relapse rates. The objective of this diploma thesis was to design an exercise program for hospitalised child patients with anorexia nervosa. A sample of 25 female patients was used to prove that this program has no adverse effect on the re-feeding program.
