Las políticas de educación sexual integral constituyen un mecanismo para garantizar una vivencia responsable de la sexualidad, así como para reducir los índices de violencia de género. Esta investigación compara dichos lineamientos para niños entre nueve y once años de edad de Argentina, Chile y Perú. Empleando una revisión documental sistematizada y comparada de los documentos oficiales de cada país, se encontró convergencia en la prevalencia de contenidos afines a la identificación de roles y estereotipos de género y al conocimiento del desarrollo corporal; así como carencias vinculadas al comportamiento y salud sexual. En Chile y Perú se advierte un enfoque preventivo, mientras que en Argentina se orienta más a los derechos humanos. No hay lineamientos explícitos que enfrenten la discriminación y violencia por orientación sexual e identidad de género y se sugiere explorar el contexto virtual e insistir en políticas innovadoras que mejoren la convivencia escolar de la región. / Comprehensive sexual education policies constitute a mechanism to guarantee a responsible experience of sexuality, as well as to reduce the rates of gender violence. This research compares these guidelines for children between nine and eleven years old from Argentina, Chile and Peru. Using a systematized and comparative documentary review of the official documents of each country, convergence was found in the prevalence of content related to the identification of gender roles and stereotypes and knowledge of body development; as well as deficiencies related to sexual behavior and health. In Chile and Peru there is a preventive approach, while in Argentina it is oriented more to human rights. There are no explicit guidelines that address discrimination and violence due to sexual orientation and gender identity and it is suggested to explore the virtual context and insist on innovative policies that improve school coexistence in the region. / Tess
