The proposed program is based on the results of a study of the needs of the printing industry, particularly in the Philippines where the university is located, and the curriculums of some of the printing schools in the Philippines and in the United States. The proposed curriculum has made provision for the areas of printing which the printing industry considers very significant. It also provides for related subjects which are believed to be necessary for enhancing the development of knowledge, understanding, and skills needed in the printing trade.
