_______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This research presents a consideration about the audiovisual language experience as a fundamental part of the student’s formation in Pedagogy, in the specific case of the Faculty of Education of the University of Brasilia – UnB -, at the city of Brasília, Brazil. For this intent, the inspiration was a fundamental image that Walter Benjamin introduced when discussing narrative and experience: the plane’s flight opposite to walking the path, conform Benjamin’s notions and ideas. The space that allowed this experience was the subject Educational Tecnology: a Vídeo Workshop, presented in the course of the second semester of 2008 at the University of Brasília. This was the place were the students and the author of this project could experiment the cinematographic language. It was also the source of the fragments that compose the telling of this story. In the researching time, two important encounters were possible. The first one was with Noeli, character of the movie This is Not Your Life. She could lead us to the ideas about experience and narrative presented by Walter Benjamin. Thinking and discussing about the experience, the practical knowledge and its fundamental importance to the creation of a narrative were the link to the second and final encounter in this project: the movie Pierre, produced by the students in the audiovisual workshop, the scenery of what has been experience in this research. During the workshop, we all walked by the path of experiences. We also took the risk of trying to know better a language that has enchanted us for more than a hundred years. However, to accomplish the writing of this experience, we had to take a plane’s flight, according to the image created by Benjamin. It was a matter of glide over the experienced moments and important situations of what, as we believe is the possibility of a sensibility education in the teacher’s formation. It is a way of learning that has in the experience’s notion presented by Benjamin its context and meaning. It is also a place for ours memories, enlightened by the cinema’s light as a form of telling and experiencing.
