Previous issue date: 2014-03-19 / Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico / This thesis aims at knowing and analyzing the work routine in a CAPS Psychosocial Care Center trying to understand, from the life experiences of workers, the multiplicity of meanings intersecting the production of the subjective dimensions of this reality. Taking as reference the theoretical-methodological point of view of the Historical-Social Psychology, and the discussions of the Center of Research and Social Work PUC/SP, this research was developed, allowing us to take part in a CAPS, type II, in the city of Maringá-PR, and live with workers in their daily routine, doing this study while socializing with them. The results of this research confirmed our thesis stating that there is a great difference between the ideal mental health workers in national conferences and the reality experienced by them in the CAPS, prevailing still a HR policy not compatible and inconsistent with what is required in the Brazilian Psychiatric Reform process. Paradoxal issues were observed, directly connected to a lack of prepare for the job, precarious conditions for working, depreciation, lack of recognition and lack of continuous training, thus exposing them to sickness in and for the work. However, even facing this contrary situations, their activity show the effective possibility, even being partial, of reaching and consolidating the CAPS. Another revealing point of this research was the disclosure on how much does the subjective dimension of madness produced in such a social-historical context affects the way the National Mental Health Policy is being interpreted in the city, which being conformed to the ideological speech, keeps reproducing the "no place" for the mad one in the daily routine of the city, as much as in the social ideological plane as in the physical one, and administrative policies / Esta tese tem como objetivo principal conhecer e analisar o cotidiano de trabalho num CAPS Centro de Atenção Psicossocial - buscando compreender, a partir do vivido pelos trabalhadores, a multiplicidade de sentidos e significados que se entrecruzam na produção das dimensões subjetivas desta realidade. Tomando por referencial a perspectiva teórico-metodológico da Psicologia Sócio-Histórica e as discussões do Núcleo de Pesquisa Trabalho e Ação Social PUC/SP, desenvolvemos esta pesquisa que nos possibilitou adentrar em um CAPS, tipo II, no município de Maringá, PR, e conviver com os trabalhadores em cena, na atividade de construir o trabalho em ato. Os resultados desta pesquisa vieram a confirmar nossa tese de que existe uma grande distância entre os trabalhadores de saúde mental idealizados nas conferências nacionais e a realidade vivida por estes no CAPS, de modo que prevalece uma política de RH incompatível e incoerente com a produção do trabalhador-sujeito tão solicitado no processo da reforma psiquiátrica brasileira. Constatamos questões paradoxais diretamente ligadas ao despreparo , a precarização das condições de trabalho, a desvalorização, a falta de reconhecimento e capacitação contínua expondo-os ao adoecimento no e pelo trabalho. Contudo, mesmo frente à situações tão adversas, as atividades dos trabalhadores evidenciam a efetiva possibilidade, mesmo que ainda parcial, do alcance e consolidação do CAPS. Outro aspecto foi o desvelamento de quanto a dimensão subjetiva da loucura produzida em tal contexto sócio-histórico é determinante no modo como a Política Nacional da Saúde Mental está sendo interpretada no município, que conformada à ideologia dominante, prossegue reproduzindo tanto no plano do imaginário social, quanto no espaço físico e nas políticas administrativas o não-lugar para o louco na vida cotidiana da cidade
