Previous issue date: 2011 / A relação conjugal é o tema desta pesquisa, ressaltando a problemática de identificar as
percepções do casal acerca do que mantém o casamento. De modo geral, objetivei compreender
os motivos que mantinham o casal junto. Pesquisar sobre o casamento e os estudos da subjetivação de gêneros faz-se necessário para compreender a complexidade das influências que as mudanças ocorridas na sociedade ecoam nos papéis sociais e nas relações entre homens e mulheres. Estas transformações reverberaram social, econômica e culturalmente, implicando
em uma crise na masculinidade e, dentre outros campos, nos princípios que norteiam a família
e, consequentemente, no casamento, no cuidado e na opção de gerar filhos. Os procedimentos
teórico-metodológicos consistiram em: a) submissão do projeto ao Comitê de Ética do Centro
de Ciências da Saúde; b) seleção dos sujeitos por meio da rede de relações da pesquisadora; c)
contato telefônico ou presencial preliminar com os informantes para obter a concordância
verbal em participar da pesquisa; d) encontro pessoal com os sujeitos para explicar os objetivos
da pesquisa e entregar o termo de consentimento livre e esclarecido, documento explicativo que
resume os objetivos da investigação; e) realização das entrevistas que foram gravadas em áudio
e transcritas. Quanto às análises, considerei as orientações de Minayo (1992). Os informantes
foram 3 casais com 4 a 6 anos de união, com filhos, e idade entre 30 a 40 anos. Foi realizada
uma análise gestáltica. O resultado aponta para a conclusão de que o casamento na sociedade
pós-moderna deixa de ser uma vinculação pela via da obrigatoriedade, passando a permear uma
escolha saudável e autônoma favorecendo a emergência de elementos como o amor, a
confiança, o diálogo, a escuta e, consequentemente, uma interação dentro das relações de
intimidade mais saudável. / The marital relationship is the subject of this research, highlighting the problem of identifying
the couple's perceptions about what keeps the marriage. In general, to understand the reasons
that kept the couple together. When searching for the marriage, the studies of gender
subjectification is needed to understand the complexity of the influences, changes in society,
echoed in the social roles and relationships between men and women. These changes
reverberated socially, economically and culturally, leading to a crisis in masculinity, among
other fields, the principles that guide the family and therefore the marriage in the care and
choice to bear children. The theoretical and methodological procedures consisted of: a) project
submission to the Ethics Committee of the Center for Health Sciences, b) selection of subjects
by the researcher's network of relationships, c) telephone or in person with the primary
informants for verbal agreement to join the study d) personal encounter with the subjects to
explain the research objectives and deliver the term of consent, explanatory document which
summarizes the goals of research, e) that the interviews were audio taped and transcribed. As
the analysis it was considered the guidelines of Minayo (1992). The informants were three
couples with 4-6 years of marriage, with children, aged between 30 and 40. Gestalt analysis
was performed. The result points to the conclusion that marriage in postmodern society ceases
to be a binding obligation by way of passing the permeate a healthy choice and favoring the
emergence of autonomous elements such as love, trust, dialogue, listening and hence an
interaction within intimate relationships healthier.
