The role of the classroom teacher in the guidance of high school students

"The purpose of this paper is to define as clearly as possible the role of the classroom teacher in the guidance of high school students. The second chapter is concerned largely with defining and justifying the functions of the classroom teacher in the guidance of high school students. In the third chapter an attempt is made to show the relationship between the developmental tasks of adolescents and the teacher's role in guidance. In the fourth chapter some of the more important tools that are helpful to the teacher in the guidance of students are discussed.
